DESIGN STRATEGY
Trust By
Design
In healthcare, form communicates trust. Most cold chain products we analysed were either bulky insulated boxes or industrial-looking devices, with little regard for the dignity of the healthcare workers using them or the reassurance needed by the communities they serve.

We defined a design intent that treated Phloton Alpha as a field-grade medical device — approachable in appearance, efficient in handling, and resilient to the harshest environments. Every decision from here would connect back to this principle.
